HUBUNGAN GAYA HIDUP DENGAN KEJADIAN PENYAKIT GOUT ARTRITIS PADA LANSIA DIWILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS DOMPU BARAT DESA WONDURU KABUPATEN DOMPU

Prevalence Indonesia, gouty arthritis was first studied by a Dutch physician, den horst dr.van 1935. when it was discovered 15 cases of severe gout menjawa. in 1988, dr.jhon darmawan showed that middle menjawa 4,683 people aged between 15-45 years were studied 0.8% suffer from high uric acid (1.7% of men and 0.5% women) among them has reached the stage of gout. these numbers are predicted to increase with high risk factors in gout

The purpose of the study to determine the relationship of lifestyle with the incidence of gout arthritis in elderly health centers dompu working in the region west of the village wawonduru dompu. This study is observational analytic cross-sectional study design. The population is gouty arthritis patients who had a diagnosis by laboratory examinations and blood uric acid levels in the region work Dompu health center-west wawonduru the number of 64 people. samples taken from 23 patients gouty arthritis, using purposive sampling.

The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents in the category are very risky lifestyles that 13 respondents (56.53%), healthy lifestyle 10 respondents (43.47%), and uric acid category ie 13 respondents (56.53%), while for categories not uric acid 10 respondents (43.47%).
In this study it can be concluded that lifestyle relationship with the incidence of gout arthritis in the elderly. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain the health of the elderly of the importance of changes in lifestyle patterns to avoid the occurrence of recurrent gouty arthritis.
